YES!!
I love the weathering effects you got on these... any chance on getting more details on how you did it?

Maybe he painted it up nice and clean and then left it outside for a few days. The weather we've been having lately, I'm sure that would do the trick. But seriously I would love to know too.

Thanks for the comments guys. I'm going to put a step-by-step on the blog but essentially your looking at sponged and brushed on Chardon Granite for the chipping. The rust is 2 colours, both brushed on but with varying consistency, Scorched Brown and Vallejo orange Brown for the bright rust spots.

Yes please!
- I also like how you faded the paint. I find it really difficult to mess with a model after I've gotten it painted up nice...
Really looking forward to the tutorial!

Nice.
I like the colour choice for the power weapons... very effective.
(is that an IP thing or something you chose for the effect?)
Some smooth whites on the armour too!
I like the way you offset the creepiness factor with the crisp, bright colours.
And I love a bit of OSL glowwy action.

What are you going to do with the bases? - really curious!

IP thing? And thanks, went for contrast against the whiter armour, while keeping the colour scheme close enough to what is expected from a follower of the chaos god's I wanted to be able to flit between representing. GW stuff, too expensive to only have one use ;)

Hmmm I was hoping the white would be creepier for the big evil knights! lol. Wanted a twisted parody of the white knight image, something which said, all your hopes are ours to take and rend. Plus for some reason I keep opting for ballache colour schemes with this army.
Had considered OSL glow from the runes and sword, but would have been too busy, and just the sword, reason is simply I didn't want to mess up the work I had done as it took a long time to get the whites done.

Well, I picked up a box of these skeletons to cut up and use as scenery on the bases throughout. Add some weapons and need to get some grey ballast to add to the battlefield type scenery, hopefully going to end up with a chaos wastes feel to it from the warhammer background. When I get the bits, going to do the army at once, so will get some snapshots up here too.

Also keep getting tempted to go back and do more to thing's I decided had been done "enough for now" 8-)
